It’s National Puncuation Day!
September 24, 2008Or so I read on cnn.com a few moments ago. Horray for punctuation! It totally deserves its own day.
If anyone reads this (maybe this is a good test), what is your favourite punctuation? I have to say that I have a special place in my heart for the semicolon. The little guy is just so powerful. Whenever I write a sentence with one and I know I’ve used it correctly, I just feel powerful. Isn’t weird how a teeny tiny little mark can do that?
Well, yes, the semicolon IS a glorious thing … pity you misused it in your penultimate sentence! [AND that your "tags" categories misspell "grammar" ...]
